Built on the former Turia Riverbed after its diversion in 1957, the gardens offer a lush green space filled with walking paths, cycling routes, sports areas, and scenic spots. Flanked by historic bridges and key landmarks like the City of Arts and Sciences and Palau de la Música, it is a vibrant oasis for locals and visitors alike

"El Parterre" is a serene and historically significant public garden in the heart of Valencia. Dating back to the 19th century, it features a formal layout with symmetrical pathways, manicured flowerbeds, and towering magnolia trees. The garden is best known for its equestrian statue of King James I

The University of Valencia (Universitat de València), founded in 1499, is one of Spain’s oldest and most prestigious academic institutions. Its historic building, La Nau, originally housed the university and remains a cultural and educational landmark in the city.

6

The Palacio del Marqués de Dos Aguas is a stunning Rococo-style palace in the heart of Valencia. Originally a Gothic noble house, it underwent a dramatic transformation in the 18th century, becoming one of the city's most iconic architectural gems. Its elaborate alabaster façade, designed by Hipólito Rovira and sculpted by Ignacio Vergara, is a masterpiece of decorative excess, featuring intricate carvings and symbolic motifs.

7

Plaza de la Virgen is one of Valencia’s most historic and emblematic squares, located in the heart of the city’s old town. Once the site of the Roman forum, it is surrounded by architectural gems such as the Cathedral of Valencia, the Basilica of the Virgen de los Desamparados, and the Palacio de la Generalitat.

At its center stands the Fountain of the Turia, an allegorical sculpture representing the river and its irrigation system. The plaza is a lively gathering place, hosting cultural events, religious ceremonies, and the weekly Tribunal de las Aguas, Europe’s oldest justice institution

8

The Almoina Archaeological Museum in Valencia is a fascinating underground site showcasing the city's rich history from its Roman foundation in 138 BC to the Middle Ages. Located near the Cathedral of Valencia, it is considered one of Europe’s most important archaeological sites.
