It's a morning trip of about 4.5 hours, to the Utiel-Requena wine region. Your guide is a sommelier specialised in Valencian wines, who will tell you about the history of wine, about the grape varieties, and a lot more!
At 9:30 you will be picked up by car/van; we’ll first go to the picturesque village of Requena, where we’ll visit some 9th century caves that were used for storing grain, oil and wine - the old clay pots are still there. We’ll do a first wine tasting there...
From here we go to a winery near Utiel; we’ll go into the vineyards and through the winery, and end with a wine tasting of some of their wines.
After the wine tasting we go back to Valencia, where we should arrive at around 14:00.
This tour can be made wheelchair accessible - only on request, and in advance!
