Our Northern Lights hunt might lead us to various locations, ensuring finding the best spots for optimal viewing conditions. Sometimes, we even cross the Finnish border. On this tour, we serve snacks & hot beverage, and if the weather permits, we make a campfire.
You’re most welcome to join us on a Northern Lights hunt! We will do our best to give you an unforgettable experience.
To experience the Northern Lights you must be outside for long periods in cold winter conditions. Therefore, it is recommended to wear very warm layers, preferably wool, and winter boots. We have some thermal overalls and snow boots for borrowing.
Please note that the photos often show the colors of the Northern Lights as being stronger than what is seen with the eye.
The tour starts at 7:00 pm from the Magic Ice Bar, Kaigata 4, 9008 Tromsø.
When the tour is over, we drive the guests up to 10 minutes outside Tromsø city center.
