This tour will take you into the Arctic wonders, for an unforgettable experience!
Using a 4x4 Toyota Land Cruiser, we will reach some of the most beautiful areas that Tromsø region has to offer.
Based on weather conditions your guide will choose a safe and fun trail around Kvaløya island or over the mainland out of Tromsø. Vistas are guaranteed no matter which way we'll go!
We will then venture for a scenic easy hike, reaching untouched landscapes, mountain lakes and breathtaking views.
When snow covers the ground, you will be provided with ice crampons or snowshoes, walking poles and foot+hand warmers. Remember to have your own waterproof hiking boots.
Your guide will take photos of you and the landscape, but if you have a camera as well, do bring it along!
An outdoor picnic with a view made of warm soup, cookies and hot drinks will warm us up while out in the wild Arctic, before heading back to Tromsø.
At the beginning of the tour, your guide will analyze the weather forecasts in order to predict the best area for this outdoor activity.
We will then set off aboard our capable 4x4 Toyota Land Cruiser for a scenic drive along the fjords and valleys on the surrounding islands near Tromsø.
Once there, depending on the weather and terrain conditions, you will be provided with the necessary equipment to go for a walk or a light hike in order to get to the most scenic locations, admire unforgettable views, get some great photos as souvenir and enjoy a warm lunch before heading back to Tromsø.
Please meet by the old wooden Music Pavillion (Musikkpaviljong) 10 minutes before the tour start.
