After leaving the meeting point, we make our way to the historical center, and while your guide illustrates the past of Trento as a river port city, we'll reach Tridentum, the seat of the undergroun roman city of Trento, and learn about its roman times.

Get to know the story of Simonino and the Medieval Jewish past of Trento. At the Galleria dei Legionari, you'll discover more about the history of the city during the Fascism regime, while sipping a particular coffee in the oldest coffee brewery in town.

Continue your tour walking by the most beautiful Palaces, decorated with frescoes dating back to the XVI, century, a time when Trento was the seat of the famous Ecumenical Council of the Roman Catholic Church . Stop to a local pastry shop to tast a very special sweet.

Reach the heart of the historical center with its imposing Cathedral and Neptune fountan. It's time to another tasting, a local dish and some more curiosity about the "Painted City" of Trento.

Continue your walking tour learning about the importance of Trento as Univerisity city with a vibrant student community and neighborhood. One more tasting awaits you, a local ham and street food.
