Standing atop Nui Nho (Small Mountain), the Christ the King Statue is one of Asia’s largest, rising 32 meters with an 18.4-meter arm span. After climbing 847 steps, visitors are rewarded with stunning panoramic views of Vung Tau’s coastline. You can even step inside the statue to admire the city from Christ’s outstretched arms. More than a landmark, it’s a sacred symbol of faith and an iconic highlight of Vung Tau.

Thang Tam Temple is a renowned spiritual site in Vung Tau dedicated to Ca Ong, the Whale God who protects fishermen. The complex includes Thang Tam Communal House, Hon Ba Temple, and the Lady of the Five Elements Temple, each rich in cultural value. The Whale Temple, featuring a giant whale skeleton, reflects the locals’ deep respect for the sea.
