Detailed itinerary

1

On this 6-day adventure, travelers will climb Mount Kilimanjaro via the Marangu Route, also known as the “Coca-Cola Route.” This is the only route that offers hut accommodations instead of tents, providing extra comfort during your climb.

You’ll hike through diverse landscapes starting from the lush rainforest, then pass through the moorland zone and alpine desert before reaching the snowy summit at Uhuru Peak — the highest point in Africa at 5,895 meters (19,341 feet).

Each day includes guided trekking led by experienced mountain guides, hearty meals prepared by our chef, and overnight stays in mountain huts. One full day (Day 4) is dedicated to acclimatization at Horombo Hut to help increase your chances of reaching the summit successfully.

On the night of Day 5, you’ll begin the final push to the summit under the stars, reaching Uhuru Peak at sunrise. After celebrating at the top, you’ll descend back down and spend your last night on the mountain before returning to Moshi.
