We pick you up from your hotel in Moshi up to Materuni village, the last village, before entering the national parks around Mt. Kilimanjaro.
Visiting a coffee plantation, you'll learn everything there is to know about how Arabica coffee is cultivated, harvested, and processed. Together, we will pound the coffee beans to remove them from their shells, roast them, grind them, and finally enjoy a cup of homemade coffee!
After this, we will take a 45-minute hike to Materuni Waterfall. Note that the terrain can be quite muddy, so wear appropriate shoes. Enjoy the beauty of Mt. Kilimanjaro's largest waterfall (90m tall) and have the option to take a refreshing swim. After we will return Materuni village and for a locally prepared Chagga lunch.

Starting in Moshi, we will take the Tuk Tuk up to Materuni Village.
Here we will give you a tour of the local coffee production and banana plantation and show you how local coffee is made!
Together we will hike to Materuni Waterfall where you can enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way with the reward of the waterfall at the end. Ofcourse you also have the option to swim at the waterfall.
After a visit to the waterfall, we will enjoy a locally made lunch and you can have the option of trying our freshly brewed banana beer (not included in price)!
After this we will return with the Tuk Tuk to Moshi and drop you off where you like.
