Following a pick-up from your Siem Reap hotel by good air condition transportation to Angkor Wat where your guide will find the best spot to view the sunrise and take perfect photos. Then head down to explore the ancient temple at its most atmospheric, bathed in the warm glow of the morning sun. Before having breakfast, we’ll head into the inner sanctum of Angkor Wat to admire the carvings and architecture of the temple.
We will then follow the tourist route to Angkor Thom, replete with stone sculptures depicting demons and deities. Learn about the cultural significance of the Bayon temple, the Terrace of Elephants, and the Royal Enclosure from your guide. After roaming around Angkor Thom, we will take a short break to enjoy your light refreshments to keep your energy level up before getting back and continuing to Ta Nei temple.
We’ll then go through Angkor off-roads on the way to visit Ta Prohm temple. Be ready for this iconic temple, which is overgrown by jungle trees and vines, with many parts of the temple crumbling to the ground. After all our visits, we’ll enjoy a lunch of typical Khmer cuisine by the small reservoir of Sra Srang.
