About this experience

Enjoy a half or full day tour at the Silver-coast with your own English speaking driver/guide.

This tour is fully customizable and besides the common tours we can also offer you a "of the beaten track" experiences to visit any Portugese village. Also a tasting of wine, olive oil, cheese etc can be arranged.

A typical gypsy market to see and feel the Portugese culture, a walking with goats and more is possible. All can be part of the pre booked tour. We will communicate clearly with you if there is an additional fee depending of the tour options you choose.

From November till March it is the best period to see the giant waves at Nazaré. Just tell us your wishes so we can discuss all the possibilities for the Silver-coast and more.

The first stop we make is at Obidos. This medieval village with its characteristic city wall, typical blue walls and flowers is known as one of the 7 wonders of Portugal. A great place to taste the Ginga and/or chocolate with cosy gift shops.

The salt mining of Salinas on route to the Sunday Santana market in Rio Mayor.

Visit the lower village of Nazaré for its great view and shop's or go to Sitio to visit the Surf museum or see the giant waves (up to 100 feet) for yourself. Also here the amount of time to spend can be decided by yourself since this is a private customizable tour.

Fátima can also be part of the tour as it is one of the most important shrines of the world dedicated to the Virgin Mary. This Sanctuary welcomes every year millions of tourists and pilgrims from all over the world.

It is also an option to visit the village of Tomar to see the templars castle and it's surroundings. Ask us upfront for the options for places to visit since not all can be done in one day. On request we also can enlarge the tour and/or help you to find accommodation for another day of touring.

If you like to visit a beautiful garden we can make a stop at the Buddha Eden parl. This Asian peace garden with sculptures, lakes, pagodas, a giant Buddha and terracotta soldiers can be visited and scheduled in one of the routes we will make this day. Best is to let us know upfront so we can schedule your tour to your wishes.

In Alcobaça The Monastery of Santa Maria d'Alcobaça from 1152 can be visited and learn about Portugals greatest love story. Pedro and Inez, known as the dead queen. Also the old wine museum is worth a visit.
