About this experience

 I am a descendant of the Tachibana family, a retainer of the Yanagawa clan in Fukuoka. I am a descendant of the samurai, and I will be guiding the samurai.
 We will visit the Sengoku period history museum and the Hojo clan's Sengoku castle, and learn about the samurai and their castles for battle in the Sengoku period.
 The Sengoku period was a time when samurai were active and lively. Study that period.This tour is not a sightseeing trip, it is an educational one.
 You will tour the exhibits and ruins while listening to a custom-made audio guide.Sometimes we will also provide oral explanations.

This museum exhibits armor, swords, matchlock guns, Folding screen depicting a battle, ancient documents and more from the Warring States period, as well as a life-size reproduction of the fifth and sixth floors of Azuchi Castle, which was built by Oda Nobunaga.

Oda Nobunaga was an ally of Tokugawa Ieyasu, who is depicted in the Hollywood historical drama "SHOUGUN," and the museum exhibits historical artefacts collected by an individual fascinated by him.

As a history enthusiast, I will select exhibits that deserve explanation and provide explanations using my own personally created English audio guide. The tour will not only provide a guide to the exhibits, but will also explain their historical background and provide easy-to-understand reference materials.

 We will provide a tour of Takiyama Castle, a castle from the Warring States period where actual battles took place.
- It is said to have been the "largest castle in the Kanto region" during the Sengoku period.
- The remains are well preserved, and it is said to be "the greatest masterpiece of medieval castle construction."
- The paths leading to the tour course are relatively well maintained.
This is an earthen castle built by cutting into a mountain for battles. It is not the castle that was not fought as shown in the tourist guide.
★You will be guided by an English audio guide created by an individual. The content was created with reference to a book by a researcher of Takiyama Castle.

*Please wear casual shoes such as sneakers. There are no steep slopes to go up or down.There is no danger.
*Toilets are located in the center of the castle.
*As there is no place to shelter from the rain, the tour may be canceled the day before or on the day in the event of rain.
