About this experience

This is a tour, that will take you to the forgotten beauty’s of the island. Starting in the South, going throughout the mountains, passing some off our special roads and offloads in our woods. Once on the top of the mountains, we will find the amazing forest of Fanal, where we have ancient trees, that will for sure, trigger your interest. From here on, we will descent to the North side of the island, where you have the opportunity to go for a swim in our natural lavapools. After a refreshing dip, our tour will take us to the West side of the island, passing some lovely views, to slowly come to an end, at the most Western point of the island, Ponta do Pargo.

Detailed itinerary

The beautiful forest of fanal, will amaze you with the prehistoric trees, which you will find there.

The route that leads to this great location will go through the woods, with a nice off-road and will make us come out in Paul Da Serra.

Stop 2

After a half-hour drive, we arrive in Porto Moniz, where you can all enjoy the lava pools. If you don't want to swim, we have beautiful viewpoints and of course the opportunity to have a drink.

After swimming, they may get you cravings, in a meal or a snack.

In the town, you have several options to eat something.

Passing through the city of Santa, we head towards our steepest and highest cable car in Madeira.

We will not take the cable car itself, but you will enjoy the beautiful view you have and you can shudder, through the deep dive, which the cable car takes.

Here you have a small chapel, with a beautiful view, ideal for taking beautiful photos.

At this location, which we reach through the middle of a small off-road, we have a beautiful view over the west coastline

The westernmost viewpoint of our island, where you have a beautiful view. The cliffs and the lighthouse will amaze you. After this beautiful view, we start our return journey to the hotels

It is located close to the harbor of the Porto santo line.
If you follow the promenade towards the Porto santo line, you will pass the statue.
