Scenic drive up to the centre of the island and wonderful viewpoint where you will be able to see famous Nun's Valley from the top.

Stop 2

Pico do Areeiro, the third-highest point on the island of Madeira, is located at an altitude of 1,818 metres. From this elevated spot, the ample view allows observers to extend their gaze over the unique grandeurs of Madeira's Mountainous Massif, with the Atlantic Ocean in the background.
Besides the wide view over the central mountain range, from Pico do Areeiro you can also see Ponta de São Lourenço, Curral das Freiras and, on clear days, the island of Porto Santo.

After exploring Pico do Arieiro, we are ready to start the journey towards the north of the island. Descending to the small village of Ribeiro Frio where we will have the opportunity of going for a easy Levada walk in the middle of the Laurissilva Forest this trail will be an opportunity to come across indigenous and endemic species, offering different shades of green to the Laurissilva forest.

Off road adventure in one of the Old Royal paths that connects Faial to Santana in the heart of our unique Laurisilva forest

In Santana we will visit some hidden gens with stunning views over the Northeast coast trough some fantastic off road paths

One of the most visit areas in Madeira where you can see and enter the iconic traditional triangular Madeira houses and we them will stop for lunch (optional extra - not included in the price ).

From Santana we will head to Faial where we will stop to visit the Guindaste sky-glass viewpoint, this place offers a breath taking view over the north coast of Madeira. where we can contemplate the beauty of the Atlantic Ocean that bathes the island.

Porto da cruz where you will have opportunity to visit the rum factory and enjoy some of the local produce rums or our famous poncha. (Drinks not included - optional)

Stop 9

To finish the day we will visit the most southern east part of Madeira, fantastic place, so different of the rest of the island.

From a day full of emotions and collectable moments we will return back to Funchal to your hotel or accommodation
