About this experience
Kayak in one of the most unique areas of Juneau with amazing views of the Mendenhall Glacier, opportunities for seeing eagles, sea lions, seals, and whales. Escape the cruise ship crowds. This is a private tour that can accommodate up to 8 people. An experienced guide will help you put on a dry suit so that you’ll be warm and dry in any weather. You can even jump in the water and stay dry. Experienced guides will teach you how to paddleboard. No experience necessary! You can stand, sit, or kneel. All equipment, instruction, snacks, and round trip transportation from the Juneau cruise port included. You'll be able to catch sight of native wildlife in their natural environment.

Our tour takes place in the estuarial region directly in front of the Mendenhall glacier. The view that you get on our tour is one of the most complete views of the glacier in all of Juneau. You will be further away from the glacier than tours that go to or around the visitors center. Fog can affect the view of the Mendenhall Glacier.
