Fatima was a field of pasture where the Virgin Mary appeared on the "Cova da Iria" and a sanctuary was built by the Portuguese Catholic Church and with tight connections to the Vatican and all the secrets and revelations done to the shepherds. Batalha is a small village located near one of the most epic battlefields in Portuguese history and a Monastery was built there to commemorate the victory. Nazare is a fishing village with a huge Surfing reputation and a Biblical name, relax with us on this coastal town. Obidos is one of the most beautiful walled villages in Portugal, let us strole around its streets before returning to Lisbon.
