We’ll welcome you with a short tour introduction and treat you to some authentic local snacks
After snacks and a brief meet-up, we’ll begin our cultural walk through one of Istanbul’s most diverse and colorful neighborhoods.
We’ll also explore the Fener neighborhood and introduce you to Istanbul and Turkish Culture in a way you’ve never heard before, through the stories of the different communities and religions that shaped this beautiful city.
We'll explore the colorful streets of the neighborhood, from vibrant houses to lively stairs, while connecting and socializing with the local kids
Next, we’ll head to the main street of the neighborhood for the food tour, where you’ll be introduced to 15+ dishes, their stories, how they’re made, and the unique people who bring the area to life.
We're meeting in Balat! You can easily get here by tram or ferry — the meeting spot is just a 2-minute walk from the stations.

What to Bring: Food isn’t included to give you flexibility. Expect to spend around maximum 1000-1500 TL per person. Bring about 600 TL cash as some small vendors don’t accept cards. Comfortable shoes are recommended for walking.
