Canto do Poeta is a fado house located in Lisbon’s Estrela neighbourhood, known for its authenticity and the quality of its artistic cast. The house is home to over a dozen fado singers and eight excellent musicians who perform on alternate nights, offering a rich and diverse programme.
Each show is carefully curated to honour both established names and emerging talents, always accompanied by Portuguese guitar and Fado viola. The intimate atmosphere and natural acoustics of the venue make each night a unique and memorable experience.
Ideal for those who wish to immerse themselves in the Fado tradition in a genuine way, far from the more commercial tourist circuits, this experience includes a full menu with traditional couvert, starters, main course, dessert.
To enhance the evening, guests are invited to enjoy a wine tasting: a welcome Moscatel upon arrival, Vinho Verde during the starters, and a glass of Reserva Port wine to conclude the meal.
