About this experience

Our full day tour will start before sunrise. In Yogyakarta, this is the best time to enjoy the fresh air, giving you peace of mind as the mist begins to lift. You will be taken to Setumbu hill to witness the stunning Borobudur sunrise. From the top of the hill, the sun will rise from behind Mount Merapi illuminating the expanse of terraced rice fields and the surrounding hills.

As the weather warms up, our tour will continue to the world's largest Buddhist temple, Borobudur Temple. You can choose to climb Borobudur Temple while admiring the details of the 72 stupas at the top of the temple. After you finish exploring Borobudur Temple, you can stop for lunch because we will travel about 1.5 - 2 hours to Prambanan Temple.

End your tour with a visit to Prambanan temple. Admire each temple building and reliefs that tell the epic story of Ramayana. Once your tour is complete, sit back and relax as your friendly driver takes you back to your accommodation in Yogyakarta.

Your first tour will begin after you leave your hotel to Bukit Setumbu. As the fog begins to lift and the air still feels fresh, here you will witness the beautiful Borobudur sunrise, which appears from behind Mount Merapi to illuminate the terraced rice fields and surrounding hills.

Witness the Borobudur sunrise and feel the warmth of the sun slowly starting to shine on your face. While waiting, you can do several exciting activities on Setumbu Hill.

After witnessing the sunrise from the stunning Setumbu hill, the tour continues by visiting the largest Buddhist temple in the world which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Borobudur Temple.

Be the first to enter the gate when the gate is opened. You can choose the option of exploring the grounds or climbing the temple. Climb to the top of Borobudur Temple and admire every detail of the 72 stupas at the top of the temple.

Stop 3

End your tour by visiting the most beautiful Hindu temple, Prambanan. However, you can stop for lunch because we will travel for about 1.5 - 2 hours. Prambanan Temple was built in the tenth century, this temple is the largest temple complex dedicated to Lord Shiva in Indonesia. See three temples decorated with reliefs depicting the epic story of Ramayana, dedicated to the three great Hindu gods (Shiva, Vishnu, and Brahma) and the animals that serve them.

In addition to admiring the temple relief carvings, here you can enjoy various exciting activities, such as learning about the history of the temple, cycling around the temple, and watching a Ramayana dance performance held on the Trimurti open stage. After your tour is over, relax while your friendly driver takes you back to your accommodation.
