You will be picked up at 8:00 am from your hotel in Guilin or Yangshuo. Drive for about 1.5 - 2.5 hours to Longji, depending on your hotel location. Get through the ticket office and then drive on for about 20 minutes to Huangluo Yao Village. Spend some time visiting the village and learn how the Yao women brush, braid, and coil their spectacularly long hair in a traditional and beautiful way. Then you will be transferred to No.2 Parking Lot, which takes about 15 minutes. Get off your car and walk about 15 minutes to Ping An Village. Enjoy your lunch in a local farmer’s restaurant.
This afternoon, you will hike from Ping An Village to the Seven Stars and the Moon No.2, then continue the hike to Longji Zhuang Village. Depending on the time of year, you may see layers of reflecting watery rice fields, lush green shoots, or a whole swathe of golden rice. The whole hike takes about 3 hours. After the tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Guilin or Yangshuo.
