Your driver guide will pick you up at 9:00 am or at a time of your choice from the lobby of your hotel, Guilin Railway Station, Guilin Airport, Guilin city center, or any other designated location.
It takes about a 2-hour drive from Guilin to the parking area of Longji Rice Terraces. Longji Rice Terraces is divided into three main sections: Ancient Zhuang Village Rice Terraces, Ping'an Rice Terraces, and Dazhai Rice Terraces. Today, we will explore two of these areas—Ancient Zhuang Village Rice Terraces and Ping'an Rice Terraces—giving you the opportunity to experience as much of the rice terraces as possible during this day tour.
The Zhuang Village Rice Terraces, considered the origin of the Longji terraced fields, is a less-visited, off-the-beaten-path destination. Ping'an Rice Terraces is renowned for its stunning beauty, Along the trail, you’ll enjoy breathtaking views of rice paddies, ancient villages, bamboo groves, and passion fruit gardens as we make our way to Ping'an Rice Terraces. When we reach the famous "Seven Stars with Moon" viewing point at Ping'an, we’ll stop for photos. After taking in the magnificent scenery, we’ll find a nice spot to enjoy lunch.
After an unforgettable day exploring Longji Rice Terraces, you’ll be transferred back to your hotel in Guilin. The return trip takes about 2 hours, giving you time to relax or take a nap in the comfort of your private vehicle.
