About this experience

The tour, which is conducted in German, offers you the opportunity to immerse yourself in the city in a short time. Your city guide will show you the highlights of the lower town as well as the Chiado and Bica districts - peppered with interesting insights into Portuguese history, culture and current topics.

From Rossio Square, you go to the famous "Elevador de Santa Justa" elevator. The viewing platform offers the best view of Lisbon Castle.

The tour takes you through the Carmo monastery ruins and the Chiado district, past beautiful tiles and the famous trams.

After stories about current developments in the city and the Lisbon poets' era, the group goes to one of the most beautiful viewpoints, the Miradouro de Santa Catarina.

After the view of the Tejo River, the Christ the Redeemer statue and the 25th of April Bridge, the city tour ends in the largest market hall. At the end, you will receive recommendations from the city guides for restaurants and more in written form.

Meeting point

We meet at the northern fountain of Rossio Square (Praca Dom Pedro IV). The northern fountain is located between the National Theater and the King's Statue. Your guide will be wearing a mint-colored T-shirt or carrying a mint-colored jute bag with the words "WALK 'N' ROLL" written on it.
