We start our day exploring two of the most iconic monuments in Miraflores. The Miraflores Municipal Palace, located at number 400 Larco Avenue, in front of Kennedy Park, is the current headquarters of the municipal corporation of the Lima district of Miraflores in Peru. This majestic building was declared a national monument in 1999 and offers a stunning view of local history.

Right next door, we find the charming Church of the Miraculous Virgin, an architectural jewel built in 1930 in the neocolonial style. Its façade is a true work of art and, at night, its lighting makes it the center of attention of the entire block. This place immerses us in the rich cultural heritage of Miraflores before continuing our gastronomic journey through the area.

Stop 2

Go on a culinary adventure starting at Kennedy Park, known for its feline community of more than 200 cats and famously called the "Cat Park." Discover the historical importance of his name, related to a president of the United States. Your first stop on this gastronomic journey is the legendary restaurant, a Miraflores institution known for its iconic status and its offering of classic Peruvian dishes that capture the essence of this vibrant district. Papa a la Huancaina and Ocopa, entries that will delight your palate without a doubt.

Prepare your taste buds for an extraordinary culinary journey as we venture into the heart of Miraflores. Our next stop is a hidden gem known as a 'Huarique' - a charming family restaurant that is the locals' best kept secret. Here, you will enjoy the freshest and most authentic ceviche prepared from treasured recipes passed down from generation to generation. It's a flavor of Peru that you won't find anywhere else.

But our adventure doesn't stop there. We will also explore the vibrant Miraflores Local Market, where you will immerse yourself in the tantalizing aromas and unique flavors of Peru. From exotic fruits to aromatic spices, you will experience the essence of Peruvian cuisine that is often hidden from the tourist trail. Join us on an unforgettable gastronomic tour, where each bite tells a story of local tradition and culture.
