After we finish our exploration of Unión Street, we will take you through Ucayali and Lampa streets to enjoy all the history of the city of Lima and learn about its people and life. We will continue with the visit of one of the most impressive attractions in the city of Lima, the Monastery of San Francisco and its fascinating internal CATACOMBS! Where we will learn about the culture and traditions of the inhabitants of the city of Lima during the colonial era of the XVI, XVII y XVIII centuries. We will have a panoramic view of one of the most important houses in the entire country accompanied by a good and rich explanation. Our president lives and works here! It is considered the oldest (or fist) official bar in Peru, located next to the presidencial palace, famouse because many former presidents and writers came here including Ernest Hemingway. This friendly bar is not posh with all forniture but with great personality and character. Locals love its traditional cusine like: Aji de gallina (creamy chicken), fresh ceviches, Tongue stew, tasty anticuchos and top Pisco sours! We are will have a quick visit.

The most important religious power during the colonial era was in the city of Lima and was presided over by this imposing cathedral. By Catholic rules, any other church must be built higher than its towers. The front is impressive, the art and architecture that surrounds it is also impressive. There the main and oldest religious ceremonies are celebrated. The locals love to get married there. We will have the best panoramic view of the Cathedral for the best photos!

Lovely Street where locals go to enjoy their day, normally you find temporary exhibitions in there, comfortable atmosphere with an always fresh breze in the air. This place hide the MOST IMORTANT sacred rock for the still living natives, this sacred place is still used to do offerings and payments to the gods like mother earth and natives from Peru came here to do different type of rituals including dances to keep their culture and energy alive. Sacred place good to go and learn!

This convent is considered the oldest in South America which during the 17th century had the tallest tower in the whole continent, still these days works as convent and has an impressive facade and shiny inside front altar, you will be visiting this place from outside especially because we will take the car to come back to your accommodation (the Port of Callao or the airport) in here, if the church of this convent is open you can take a quick look inside.

Stop 9

The Plaza de Armas is another HIGHLIGHT! It has an influence from Spain in the architecture (because before we were a colony), it is also surrounded by the first palaces, mansions, palaces and castles built in South America and a beautiful main garden. Remember that before taking you to this place we will take a walk on Ancash Street to visit the "Happy Inka market" where you will appreciate the beautiful art of the locals, indigenous carvings and textiles, you will have the opportunity to buy a souvenir of your visit to Lima!

At approximately 5:30 pm we will have a local dinner and then we will go to the "Magic Water Park". It is one of the main attractions that the city of Lima has to offer at night. It is considered a highlight by the locals and is a must-see. It is in the Guinness Book of Records for the largest fountain complex in the world, displaying 13 different fountains and many are interactive. All of the fountains are illuminated at night, many with continually changing color schemes. A colorful laser light show synchronized to classical and Peruvian music makes the fountains shimmer and shine as the water flows in unique patterns and shapes.
Finally, we will take you back to your place (Callao Port or Airport).
