Continue down into the crater to explore the quiet village of Sete Cidades. Stroll through its charming streets and visit the 19th-century São Nicolau Church, a peaceful neo-Gothic building framed by gardens.

We will visit one of the 7 natural wonders of Portugal. This crater is a "must see" located at the western end on the island of São Miguel. Our small group will visit the famous look out Vista do Rei, where King D.Carlos 1 and Queen D.Amélia visited in 1901. We will visit the crater lakes and even have a small comfort stop inside the crater.
Within the Lagoa do Canario Park we visit the famous view point of Boca do Inferno. This view point overlooks the Sete Cidades crater.

We make a small comfort stop inside the Sete Cidades Crater, Here we can visit the church of Sao Nicolau, walk around the small vaillage or simply relax and enjoy a drink.
