Stop 1

We will begin the tour at the colonial district of Saint Lazarus where Arequipa was founded, and then continue to Grau Bridge to reach Carmen Alto district with its beautiful landscape and farming terraces. We will visit the Church of the Candelaria Virgin that dates back to the 17th century in the Cayman district, famous for its typical restaurants and food. We will also visit the Recoleta Convent founded in 1648. Continuing our tour to Vallecito, a residential neighborhood, we will be able to appreciate the Iron Bridge designed by Gustave Eiffel, and end up in the city center to appreciate the beautiful colonial houses, such as the Moral and Tristan del Pozo Houses.
