Travel to the heart of the Mekong Delta on this small group adventure tour from Ho Chi Minh City. You'll board a private longtail boat, experience the diversity of the Mekong waterways first hand as you explore fish farms, exotic fruit farms and dine on traditional Mekong Delta food.
We will meet our guide there and escape the city for a tour of the Mekong Delta, where you'll see what life is like beyond the urban centre of the south.
Upon arrival into My Tho, we board our private boat for a cruise on the Mekong River. Then board a private boat and begin your cruise along the mighty Mekong River. Stop-off at a fish farm to gain an insight into one of the biggest industries of the region. Your expert local guide will take you to a nearby island, where you can stroll through the gardens and sample tropical fruits. Continuing to another island in the Mekong Delta, learn more about another cottage industry–coconut candy. Visit a factory and learn how this sweet is made.
Next continue by motorized cart to visit a bee farm! Afterwards, transfer to a rowing boat to explore the smaller canals of the Delta. Finally well deserved lunch, we'll hit up Vuon Dau restaurant. here you will be able to enjoy the set menu - expecs dishes like Elephant Ear fish, Vietnamese pancake (known as Bánh Xèo), Mekong Lobsters, Mekong sour soup and Braised pork in coconut juice with quail eggs served with rice.
We'll head back to My Tho for the journey back to Ho Chi Minh City where you will be dropped off at your hotel.
