Megijima is a small island (with around 130 inhabitants) located in Kagawa Prefecture. It is also known as "the Island of Ogres" because it is believed to have been the setting of the Legend of Momotaro, where the famous hero defeated the ogres who were terrorizing the island.
In this local setting, away from the tourist crowds, you can enjoy a homemade lunch prepared by an elderly couple, while engaging in conversations with the owners. The café has a distinctive "antique" concept, taking guests back to 80s Japan with its vintage design, nostalgic objects, and delightful sweets.
