About this experience

We'll depart from Lisbon in the morning for Fátima, a scenic journey of about an hour and a half through the Portuguese landscape. Fátima is home to the Sanctuary of Fátima, one of the world's most significant Marian shrines, drawing millions of pilgrims annually. Our first stop will be the Chapel of the Apparitions, where the Virgin Mary is believed to have appeared to three shepherd children in 1917. You can light a candle, offer a prayer, and experience the profound peace of the site.

Next, we'll visit the Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary, a neoclassical church housing the tombs of the visionaries Francisco and Jacinta Marto, and Lúcia dos Santos. Its beautiful stained glass windows depict scenes from the apparitions and the lives of Jesus and Mary. Nearby, the modern Basilica of the Holy Trinity, one of the world's largest churches with a capacity for 8,633 people, offers a contrasting yet complementary experience with its contemporary architecture.
