Sintra is a town in the foothills of Portugal’s Sintra Mountains. A longtime royal sanctuary, its forested terrain is studded with pastel-colored villas and palaces.

Azenhas do Mar is a seaside town in the municipality of Sintra, Portugal.

Stop 4

Cabo da Roca or Cape Roca is a cape which forms the westernmost point of the Sintra Mountain Range, of mainland Portugal, of continental Europe, and of the Eurasian landmass.

A famous beach break located only 20 km west of Lisbon city center. It’s one of the best surf spots in Portugal and offers barreling, fast and powerful waves with bigger swells. On smaller days, it’s also perfect suitable for beginners and less experienced surfers.

Belém is a laid-back area on the Tagus River, known for its seafood restaurants and houses decorated with colorful tiles. Among the area's shaded green lawns are historic landmarks that recall Portugal’s seafaring past, like the 16th-century Tower of Belém and the sail-shaped Discoveries Monument. Near the vast Gothic Jerónimos Monastery, the popular Pastéis de Belém patisserie is famed for its custard tarts.

This is a cycling tour, so the remaining time is allotted as time to get from one attraction to the other. The actual time it will take will depend on the clients speed, which is why I recommend to keep it as a range.
