About this experience

The Do Eat Better Experience Lisbon Food Tour will dive you into a world of culinary experiences. You will try only the best dishes and petiscos, such as sardines, bifana and more, in at least 4 stops in some of the most local bars and restaurants of the Portuguese capital. At the end, you will have eaten the equivalent of a full meal.

You will be accompanied by a local expert, who will make the experience unique by telling fun facts and anecdotes regarding local culinary traditions. The group can also consist of other clients, an opportunity to meet people from all over the world and share this experience with them!

Sipping a glass of wine or beer you will be able to feel this unique lifestyle, based on hard work but also moments of pleasure, social life and relax. We will walk through the beautiful streets of the town, passing by the most famous monuments, while our local expert will give an insight into the history and culture.

Stop 1

Meet our local expert guide and join us for this 3-hour long food tour across Lisbon, one of the most charming European capitals.
You will have a full meal in at least 4 stops. All food included!

Stop 2

We'll stop into the famous market of Lisboa, tasting the most famous food in town: croquetas!
Walking among the market stands and different venues, you will live like a real local

Stop 3

Going to the second stop you'll walk across the beatiful streets of Chiado district, one of the most picturesque and liveliest neighbourhoods in town.

During this stroll, you'll pass by some of the most iconic landmarks in Lisbon, such as Praca de Sao Paulo, the Pink Street and the National Theater. And After that, you'll try the Bifana: The Beloved Portuguese Pork Sandwich...delicious!

Walking through the streets of the city we will move towards the Bairro Alto, probably the most famous district in Lisbon, well known for its paved alleys, its historical tramways and its urban art.
Here, at the third stop you will enjoy some local appetizers such as sardines and other traditional delicacies.

Stop 5

While walking across the Bairro Alto and Baixa districts with your local expert, you will discover what makes Lisbon and its cuisine so unique. In a traditional Tasca - the typical Portuguese eateries that offer a classic and familiar repertoire of dishes - you will dive in the world of Portuguese tapas, called Petiscos: a culinary delight to "cheat on your hunger"!

Your culinary adventure ends in Baixa, the historical and commercial heart of Lisbon, with a typical Portuguese dessert in one of the city's most beautiful establishments. You will enjoy a freshly baked pastel de nada, flaky on the outside and creamy on the inside: an icon in Portugal!
