About this experience

Safari Ostrich Farm is a working ostrich farm 6 km outside Oudtshoorn. This is the only tractor tour on an ostrich farm in South Africa. Our 1 hour guided tours are focused on you having a wonderful interactive encounter with Ostriches. On our Tour you will learn something new about the world’s largest bird.
Lunch will be served at a restaurant in Oudtshoorn where a small portion of ostrich meat can be sampled as part of a Karoo plate.
The Cango Caves are one of the Seven Wonders of South Africa, and an archaeological and historical highlight of the Klein Karoo. It lies 30 km outside Oudtshoorn. From the entrance, a flight of stairs takes you down to the huge Van Zyl’s Hall, an amazing cave that’s 107m long, 54m at its widest and up to 17m in height. You can also look forward to seeing other formations like the 10m high Cleopatra’s Needle (estimated to be about 150 000 years old), the Organ Pipes, the Ballerina and the Frozen Waterfall.

The Cango Caves are one of the Seven Wonders of South Africa, and an archaeological and historical highlight of the Klein Karoo. It lies 30 km outside Oudtshoorn. From the entrance, a flight of stairs takes you down to the huge Van Zyl’s Hall, an amazing cave that’s 107m long, 54m at its widest and up to 17m in height. You can also look forward to seeing other formations like the 10m high Cleopatra’s Needle (estimated to be about 150 000 years old), the Organ Pipes, the Ballerina and the Frozen Waterfall. Please note that traveling to the area and back again to the next activity is not part of 90 minutes at the activity.
