The activity starts in the plains of Stroumboula, where you will have the opportunity to see the stunning mountain peaks of outdoor Crete and enjoy its rich flora. The climb takes 45–60 minutes, with several stops for rest, photos, and discussions related to the history and traditions of the place. No professional equipment is needed, as everyone can climb with suitable shoes. Upon reaching the top of Stroumboula, you will see a historic church and enjoy a breathtaking view of the Aegean Sea, the city of Heraklion, and the mountainous landscape of Crete. Once we are at an altitude of 798 meters, you will have plenty of time to take photos, tour the surrounding area of the mountain's peak, and taste the traditional Cretan delicacies.
