While on a quest to find ancient treasures and secret gems, you will have the opportunity to drive and maneuver quad bikes through diverse terrains and challenging trails.

Here we will see the fishing vessels that still employ the 'arte xávega', a traditional way of fishing that has been used in this region since the XVIII century.
As soon as we get confortable with the bikes, we head inland to explore the sandy off-road terrains.
We get to visit upclose the great fossil canyon, it was once the bottom of the ocean and it is full of fossils, some of them millions of years old, if you're lucky you may even find yourself a souvenir.
Visit to the Capuchos convent. Built in the XVI century by an important portuguese family, it has been a conspicuous landmark of this region ever since. Today, it preserves it's beautiful gardens and a magnificent view over the atlantic.
We then head to the forest for some challeging trails, discovering the hidden secrets that hide between the trees.
Visit to the 2ª bateria da trafaria, an abandoned military compound built in the 19th century to protect the city of Lisbon, although it doesn't have a military use, it still has some amazing views of the river, belém and sintra.
Visit to the abandoned 'ondaparque' waterpark. It was open only from 1988 until 1996, but it still was one of the most imponent waterparks in Portugal. Now, almost 30 years later, the vegetation is taking over wich gives it an unique vibe.
We set out to cova do vapor, the village where the river Tejo meets the atlantic ocean, from there we enjoy a beautiful view of the bugio lighthouse, located in the midle of the river Tejo.
