The driving time to Elafonissi Beach is approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, if origination from Chania. There is a central parking lot and to get to the beach you need to cross a distance of 750 meters (about a 10 minute walk) on a dirt path. Our guide will park in the parking lot next to the entrance, and help you carry the free equipment to the beach.
Elafonnissi Beach is a large area consisting of the main beach (separated into two areas), the island of Elafonissi and a smaller, lagoon like beach, connecting the main beach to the island. You can reach the island by crossing the shallow waters of the lagoon. On the two main beaches there are umbrellas and lounge chairs for rent, canteens, toilets and a place to change.
