The Stork Fountain was inaugurated in 1894 and is located on the small square known as Amagertorv in the heart of Copenhagen's city center.
Nyhavn was originally constructed in the late 17th century as a commercial port, serving as a hub for trade, shipping, and maritime activities.
The area retains its historical character with old wooden ships docked along the canal, adding to its maritime charm.

It was designed by the architect Hans van Steenwinckel the Younger.
Rosenborg Castle was built in the early 17th century by King Christian IV as a royal summer residence.
It was initially intended as a country house outside the city walls of Copenhagen but later became a permanent royal residence.
Frederik's Church was commissioned by King Frederick V in the mid-18th century as part of a grand architectural project to enhance Copenhagen's cityscape.
Construction began in 1749 but faced interruptions and was only completed in 1894.
The fountain was unveiled in 1908 and is located on the waterfront of Langelinie promenade in Copenhagen.
It depicts the Norse goddess Gefjun driving a chariot pulled by four oxen.
