Detailed itinerary

1

The sunrise will be on the east side, so I suggest sitting on the drivers side for an unobstructed view of the morning sun. Your hike will start as soon as we arrive! El Morro serves as a unique historical record of the travelers who journeyed along the east-west trail, leaving behind glimpses of their stories etched on the sandstone cliff. The carvings, symbols, names, and dates offer a fascinating insight into the individuals who sought respite at the oasis and a tangible connection to the past for modern visitors exploring the site. After a 1 to 2 hour hike a fresh deli packed lunch will be served. Next Zuni Village!

2

Last chance to buy Authentic Hopi, Zuni and Navajo art and jewelry. You'll have 15-30 minutes at this 100+ year old Trading Post with incredible history. There is something for everyone, whether you are looking for a unique artifact or a sterling silver piece of jewelry. After this exciting opportunity, sit back and relax during the one-hour ride back to your pickup location in Gallup, New Mexico.
