About this experience

Start your journey at the Caldeirão Dam Parking Park. Climb to the Miradouro do Mocho Real to enjoy the view... The adventure begins! A big challenge awaits! About five hundred wooden steps down the Mondego Valley, with the stunning Caldeirão Falls revealing its rare beauty. After crossing the old Mizarela Bridge and observing the natural sculptures, follow past the old factories and learn about the Papa's blanket. Meet the Pateiro Hydroelectric Power Station, the oldest in the Guarda, and listen to the stories of the exploration of "black gold". Cross suspended bridges and discover the mills in Ribeira dos Moinhos. Finish at the park "Videmonte" and cool down in the waters of Mondego, bring a bathing suit.
