Detailed itinerary

1

Here, you'll meet your guide, receive a tour briefing, and learn how to operate your electric-assist bicycle.
We'll also purchase ferry tickets together before boarding.

2

After arriving at Tonosho Port, we’ll stop by Ikemoto Hoeidou, a long-established confectionery founded in the early Showa era.
You'll choose one sweet from a pre-selected selection, including traditional Japanese sweets, Western-style cakes, or their popular “kuzu bars” (included in the tour price).
If you wish, you can also shop for additional items at your own expense.

3

Stop at the Dofuchi Strait for a memorable photo.
Recognized by the Guinness World Records as the narrowest strait in the world, it’s a fun and unique sightseeing spot.

4

Ride through “Meiro-no-Machi” (the Maze Town).
This historic area features a maze-like network of narrow alleys, originally designed as a defense strategy in the Edo period.
We’ll cycle slowly through the district and pass by Saikoji Temple along the way.

5

Stop at the Nakayama Senmaida (terraced rice fields) for scenic views and photo opportunities.
These rice terraces reflect the traditional countryside of Japan. Please note: during off-season periods after harvest, this stop may be substituted with another location.

6

Take a break and enjoy a walk along the sandy beach of Angel Road, a romantic natural sandbar in Tonosho Town, Shodoshima.
This famous spot appears only at low tide, connecting small islands you can walk across—a symbolic place known for bringing people together.

7

Stop by the Fudoyama Rural Kabuki stage for photos and sightseeing.
This traditional kabuki stage has been preserved since the Edo period and is still used by locals today. Its revolving stage and authentic design make it a unique cultural site.

Next, we’ll stop by Morikuni Sake Brewery, where guests who wish can enjoy the on-site café or shop for local goods (optional, not included in the tour price).
