Kamakura is a historical city in the Kanagawa prefecture, which is known as "the Kyoto of Kanto region". It's a very popular tourist destination that attracts both locals and travellers due to presenting more than 100 temples and shrines.
This tour will give you the opportunity to enjoy Japanese history and culture in Kamakura, visiting the historical place where the legendary Japanese Samurai emerged.
Among the highlights to experience are a panoramic viewpoint in a mountain where a temple is located, where the ground has a large variety of blooming flowers. Another one will be seeing the bronze statue of a Buddha from the 12th century. As a Nationally Licensed Guide Interpreter, I will be able to tell you the story behind why it was constructed.

You will meet your guide at your hotel lobby or anywhere in Tokyo and take a train to go to Kamakura.
Hokokuji is a small temple of the Rinzai Sect of Zen Buddhism.
Two sculptors carved two Kannon statues out of a sacred tree. One of them was enshrined at Hase tepmple. It is called “Eleven-headed Kannon” because it has eleven heads. With 9.18 meters hight, it is one of the largest wooden Buddhist statues in Japan

The Great Buddha of Kamakura is a bronze statue of Amida Buddha which is standed in Kotokuin Temple.The statue is 11.3 meters tall and weighs 121 tons.
Kamakura Daibutsu is the only statue of Buddha in Kamakura that is designated as a national treasure.
