About this experience

Experience the natural beauty of Crete on a guided tour to Preveli's Beach and Palm Forest . Enjoy a swim and soak in the lush nature of the palm forest on your trip. Visit some of Crete’s best beaches without having to drive yourself .You’ll head to Preveli Beach on the island’s south coast, where you’ll get a chance to swim and relax on the sand. On the way, stop at Kourtaliotis Gorge to admire the view of waterfalls.
The tour includes also a short hiking through steps to reach the Palm forest of Preveli therefore please wear comfortable & stable shoes for your safety and carry your open shoes in your backpack .
As it's a swimming tour , don't forget to bring your swimsuit , towel or anything else you consider necessary .

After approximately 2 Hours drive we arrive at the parking area. And the magic journey starts .

The Palm Beach of Preveli , known as River of Prevel is located at the exit of Mega River, which carries the waters of the imposing Kourtaliotiko gorge.

Before we go to the beach , we make a short stop for photos of the magnificent springs , a unique nature because of its landscape .The combination of the huge vertical cliffs of the gorge , the river with its green water , the unique palm tree forest creates a magical atmosphere .It is the most romantic beach of Crete .

An almost 20 minutes walk BY STEPS , will give us the unforgettable opportunity to swim in the crystal clear waters of the Libyan sea , next to the tropical river , enjoy the sun and stroll through the exotic palm tree forest.
