After leaving EVOA, our destination is the tipical Ribatejo village of Salvaterra de Magos.

FALCOARIA  REAL OF SALVATERRA DE MAGOS The Royal Falconry of Salvaterra de Magos, mostlly the Art of Falconry, has been recognized as

Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, by UNESCO, in Dec. 2016.

Nowadays, the Falconry has its own Treaty and obeys to restricted laws and rules. In our visit to

Falcoaria Real of Salvaterra de Magos, which is closely associated to the History of the Country House of the Royalty, we can :see around 30 species of birds;make interactivity through multimedia elements;watch flight and training demonstration, of several birds, aswell as staged “prey capture”.Sometimes, we can also have the pleasure to watch some exhibitions of several and different local artists, inside the Falconry.

After leaving the Falconry, we are probably ready for some Portuguese Tipical "Petiscos", for it's Lunch Time

After lunch, our Tour continues in the Picturesque Fishermen Village ESCAROUPIM.

ESCAROUPIM

THE FISHING VILLAGE   In this picturesque village, we can find their little, but colorful, houses, built on stakes, to keep them safe during strong winters, when the Tagus River waters invade the whole village. Their fishing boats are also painted with bright colors, to help them to keep going during the difficult winters. What we'll do in ESCAROUPIM:-  make a Cruise on the Tagus. During one hour or so, we can admire the river fauna and flora.Little white houses, from the other riverside villages can be seen. Keep your eyes and ears alert, because all kind of birds may, and will, join us in this ride.We may also enjoy a wine tasting during or before/after our cruise.

COMPANHIA DAS LEZÍRIAS - Wine and olive oil tasting

This is probably the best way to finish our ONE DAY ALL INCLUDED TOUR in Ribatejo.

For an hour or so, we will have an extraordinary wine and olive oil tasting, all produced in COMPANHIA DAS LEZÍRIAS, with bread, cheese and some smoked delicatessen, and we might, aswell, have the opportunity to buy those we preferred, and take them back home.

We promise you an unforgettable day, with sights, sounds, colors, flavours and smells that will remain in your memories forever.
