You can see wild monkeys relaxing in hot springs with the mountains as a backdrop.
Their adorable behavior is a special sight that can only be seen here, and will be an unforgettable memory.
After the long forest paths, you will be surprised how close you can see them!

The museum is dedicated to Katsushika Hokusai, the artist attracting attention all over the world.
You can closely see his artworks, including his famous ukiyo-e prints.
Hokusai first visited Obuse at the age of 83 and left a lot of works in Obuse just before his death.
You can also learn about the special connection between Obuse and Hokusai.
