Lata Iskandar is a waterfall along the trunk road from Tapah to Cameron Highlands, located about 25km before Ringlet.
The waterfall cascades over several tiers of granite slopes, with the last drop at 25 meters high flowing into a small pool below, before resuming its journey as a narrow stream.
On weekends, the waterfall is overrun by tourists and local visitors.

2

Bharat is the second-largest tea producer in Cameron Highlands, with plantations in Tanah Rata and Tringkap that grow their signature brand 'Cameron Valley'.

Its primary estate is nestled along the main road at Tanah Rata, about 2km before town or 6km after Ringlet. The plantation has two tea houses situated slightly apart from each other along the main road.

The first tea house offers a walk down the valley to a small park and waterfall, while the second tea house is housed in a larger complex with bigger parking space. Both centers feature a product shop and café with decks that overlook impressive views of the valley.

The cafés offer some special tea blends inspired by Sri Lankan and South Indian flavors, such as Masala Chai and Cardamom Tea.

3

Cameron Highlands has attracted visitors to its cool jungles, quaint Tudor-style houses, fresh vegetables and fragrant teas. Cameron Highlands is one of the country’s most fertile agricultural spots, possessing all the right attributes for growing outstanding tea, and is situated over 5,000 feet above sea level on the main mountain range of Malaysia.

The true character of BOH’s teas is greatly influenced by the conditions at the tea gardens; namely high altitude, low temperatures, abundant rainfall and acidic soil. With amazing landscapes and stunning panoramic views, the tea gardens are truly picturesque.

4

Big Red Strawberry Farm is an agro-tourism park growing hydroponic strawberries and organic vegetables. Perched on a steep hill slope overlooking Brinchang, the center is accessible by road from Star Regency Hotel, marked by large signboards from town. Once at the foothill, the entrance is located right next to Cactus Valley.

Starting from the main entrance, visitors will climb up some steps to a koi fountain, flower nursery and mini petting zoo filled mostly with rabbits. The walkway then leads through the strawberry farm, where self-picking for purchase is allowed. Finally, the walk ends at a café and shop where fresh strawberries and other local products may be purchased.
Big Red is open daily from 8.30am till 6pm.

5

Cactus Valley Cameron Highlands is the newly built tourist attraction with numerous types of cactus on show. Its hillside location makes for interesting viewing of the cactus and other plants which include Strawberries, Roses, Apple & Peach trees, Orchids, Cherry Tomatoes etc.

Cactus Valley boast of having one of the most variety of cactus plants, some as old as 60 years.

Be sure to check out the Hydroponics method of cultivating crops such as tomatoes, strawberry and other vegetables here.

8 varieties of apple trees, passion fruit plants are also cultivated in Cactus Valley Cameron Highlands.

Cactus, fresh strawberries, potted plants, souvenir items and dried flowers are available for sale.

Your visit to Cactus Valley will be one of the most wonderful experience in your life.

6

This is a beautiful Buddhist temple located in Cameron Highland that is very peaceful and definitely worth a visit. Sam Poh Temple is a famous cave temple that is very famous.

The cave was discovered in 1890 by a monk who was traveling through. The monk decided to make it his home and place for meditation. The temple is very highly decorated and definitely worth seeing. Sometimes when visiting you will get to witness the monks chanting while visiting, and you will be more than welcomed to stay and listen.

7

Ringlet is the first township along the Cameron Highlands stretch from Tapah, the most established gateway to this resort destination from Kuala Lumpur via North-South Highway. Located about 45km away from Tapah exit, Ringlet welcomes visitors with a giant strawberry statue along the road right after crossing the Perak border into Pahang.

This little countryside town is home to a community of farmers, small-time business operators and migrant agricultural workers, evident by numerous vegetable farms hidden behind the hills. While mostly a backwater area, there are facilities such as banks, petrol stations, sundry shops, restaurants and even a lotto counter.
