This is truly an unique experience in the Viking ship harbor, Shipyard, and the ship wrecks, and tasting of Viking food, and Viking history.
You will have a professional museum guide. Whom will take you through the Vikings era, telling about society, raids, trade, seafaring all explained amongst the wrecks and outside in shipyard and reconstructed Viking Ships.
The tour includes a “Taste of the Vikings” food.
The museum Café has followed recipes and archaeological evidence and create a kind of buffet which allow you to taste food from the Viking era and of course taste the Vikings brew, mjod.(mjød).
There is of course time for you to enjoy the Viking Ship launch, almost like the Vikings themselves did, and in between a stroll around the entire museum.

On this unique day tour, we will take you to the annual launch of the reconstructed Viking Ships at the Viking Ship Museum.
