About this experience

REXPERIENCE (RXP.KL) is an immersive digital art gallery in REXKL — in the heart of Kuala Lumpur. By reimagining the former REX CINEMA that once stood as the art and culture centre of downtown KL, REXPERIENCE merges the past's rich tapestry with new and cutting-edge digital art forms, that welcome all into the world of art.

Spanning cosmic, natural, urban, and abstract realms, “Other World” honours the limitless horizons of art. Prepare for a transcendent escape into realms of enchantment and creativity, where art is a living, interactive experience.

Each one-hour show features three main immersive art exhibits- Foreign Nature, Yume, and Annihilation with an interactive interlude between each presentation.

Both Regular and Live Performance includes all three exhibits with the latter featuring a live dancer in a motion capture suit while Regular only includes a pre-recorded visual of the dancer.

Your visit is a journey into a specific, mind-bending show. Each of our exhibits is a unique production, projected onto the massive, 12-meter-high walls of our hall. You will be completely enveloped by the art, watching as it moves, evolves, and reacts around you. The experience is enhanced by 360° sound, ensuring every sense is engaged.

Rotating Shows: The exhibition changes throughout the day. Your ticket grants you entry to a specific, pre-scheduled show. Be sure to check our daily schedule to choose the exhibit that excites you most.

Relax and Immerse Yourself: The main hall is a vast, open space designed for you to sit, stand, or simply move around and absorb the show. Find your perfect spot and watch as the art unfolds around you.

Explore REXKL: REXPERIENCE is part of the larger REXKL cultural hub. After your show, you can wander through the building to discover independent bookshops, artisan cafes, and other spaces that make this a must-visit destination in Kuala Lumpur.
