Stop 2

Arrival in Brienz, Brunngasse, and Lake Brienz

After visiting Aareschlucht, you will arrive in the charming town of Brienz, located on the shores of Lake Brienz. The town offers picturesque views of the lake, crystal-clear waters, and surrounding mountains.

One of the highlights of Brienz is Brunngasse, considered one of the most beautiful streets in Europe. Lined with traditional wooden houses and vibrant flowers, it creates a charming atmosphere.

Lake Brienz is famous for its turquoise waters and stunning scenery. The lake is perfect for boat trips and offers breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. Both Brunngasse and Lake Brienz are the perfect combination of natural beauty and alpine charm, making Brienz a memorable destination.

Giessbach Falls and the Short Hike

Giessbach Falls, located near Lake Brienz, is one of Switzerland's most beautiful waterfalls, known for its cascading waters over several levels. One of the best ways to enjoy the beauty of the site is by taking an 8-minute hike, passing several smaller waterfalls along the way, each offering a unique and stunning view.

The trail is easy and accessible, perfect for all visitors. Surrounded by lush vegetation and the sound of water flowing over the rocks, it creates a peaceful and magical atmosphere. The hike leads to the main area of Giessbach Falls, where you can enjoy spectacular views, surrounded by the tranquility of the alpine forest.

Giessbach Falls is a great destination for nature lovers, offering an immersive experience of Switzerland's natural beauty with charming waterfalls on a short and enjoyable hike.
