On this classic tour we‘ll drive The Golden Circle and take in all its awe and beauty! We‘ll visit Þingvellir national park, Geysir geothermal area and Gullfoss the queen of all Icelandic waterfalls.
We'll walk the beautiful Þingvellir National Park and UNESCO Heritage site. The scenery is amazing no matter the weather! We'll get a close look at how the tectonic plates drifted apart and on where the first settlers of Iceland founded the world´s oldest parliament Althingi (Alþingi) in the year 930.
We then continue to the geysers area with the famous Geysir which all other geysers are named after. Here we’ll see the lively geyser Strokkur erupt roughly every 5-10 minutes and reach a height up to 25 meters along with observing the other geothermal features of the area. From there we'll head up to Gullfoss waterfall, which many Icelander´s call the Queen of all Waterfalls!
