About this experience

Enjoy a full-day private tour with a government-licensed guide, visiting Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park and Miyajima Island. The itinerary is flexible and can be customized to your interests.

In Hiroshima, walk through Peace Memorial Park, see the A-Bomb Dome, several monuments and statues, and, if you wish, visit the Peace Memorial Museum. At lunchtime, enjoy Hiroshima’s local specialty, okonomiyaki.

In the afternoon, visit Miyajima, a UNESCO World Heritage island. Admire the floating torii gate, walk through Itsukushima Shrine, and enjoy the scenery and island atmosphere with your guide’s explanations.

Lunch is not included in the tour price.
We mainly use public transport; taxis can be arranged at extra cost.

Take tram from city center to Miyajima.
During the tram ride, you can see the view of Hiroshima city which has beautiful scenery such as rivers and mountains.

Okonomiyaki is a Hiroshima's local cuisine. It is like Hiroshima pizza.

You will enjoy tram and ferry ride to Miyajima island, a World Culture Heritage.
You will visit to Torii gate (floating shrine) and Itsukushima shrine on the island.
You will also visit Daishoin Temple, one of the most important temples of Shingon Buddhism.

Take a ferry and Japan Rail from Miyajima island to Hiroshima station.
You can enjoy the city view along the way.
