Your journey begins in a quiet corner of paradise, far from the crowded jetties, close to nature : Chantauvent, our family-run guest house, where generations of our family have lived in deep connection with this beautiful bay.

Unlike the mainland which is of volcanic origin, Ile aux Aigrettes is made up of coralline limestone. It is home to the last remnants of dry coastal forest, once found around most of Mauritius.

Île aux Fouquets (also known as Île au Phare, Lighthouse Island) is an island off the south-east coast of Mauritius.

The island is of pure coral origin and has had Islet National Park status since June 5, 2004.It is located about five kilometers off the south-eastern coast in the vicinity of the islands of Ilot Vacoas and Île de la Passe.
