Detailed itinerary

1

Departure from Chantauvent – far from the crowded jetties, close to nature. Our family-run guesthouse, where the bay has been our home for generations. Feel the fresh morning breeze as we cruise towards the first stop.

2

Unlike the mainland which is of volcanic origin, Ile aux Aigrettes is made up of coralline limestone. It is home to the last remnants of dry coastal forest, once found around most of Mauritius.

3

We will pass next to the remain of the ship Wreck the Dalblair.
On the fateful night of 6-7 February 1902, Le Dalblaire – a three mast ship made entirely out of steel – got trapped in between the rocks in Blue Bay. The ship came from Cardiff in The UK and was heading towards Port Louis with a cargo of coal. There was a crew of 24 men on board under the command of Captain McLaren.

4

Île aux Fouquets (also known as Île au Phare, Lighthouse Island) is an island off the south-east coast of Mauritius.

The island is of pure coral origin and has had Islet National Park status since June 5, 2004. It is located about five kilometers off the south-eastern coast in the vicinity of the islands of Ilot Vacoas and Île de la Passe.

5

Join us for a remarkable day trip to the mesmerizing Ile aux Cerfs, where natural beauty and adventure collide. Join us for an exclusive experience allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the wonders of the South.

6

Glide through the river mouth among the trees to reach this breathtaking waterfall, where freshwater cascades meet the sea in a mesmerizing display.

7

Here, your journey can take two paths: either head to your taxi, carrying with you the memories of an unforgettable day, or linger a little longer, sinking your feet into the warm sand, sipping on a refreshing cocktail, and soaking in the last golden rays of the afternoon. No rush, no noise - just the perfect ending to a day spent in harmony with nature.
